Saad bin Azizur Rahman, son of housewife Umme Salma, was granted bail after being cleared of involvement in her murder in Dupchanchia, Bogra. Bogra Senior District Judge Shahjahan Kabir issued the order after reviewing police investigations and Section 164 statements from the three main suspects. Saad’s father, Azizur Rahman, welcomed the decision and called for justice against the actual culprits. Umme Salma was killed on November 10, and initial accusations against Saad were refuted by evidence implicating tenant Mabiya Sultana and her accomplices, who confessed in court under Section 164.
