The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens’ Committee are set to launch a new political party, shaping its foundation based on public opinion under the slogan "New Bangladesh Through Your Eyes." At a press conference in Dhaka, they announced plans to gather around 100,000 public opinions and seek suggestions for the party’s name and symbol. Describing it as Bangladesh’s first large-scale public opinion initiative, they emphasized that participation would be accessible both online and offline.
Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, stated, "Real change doesn’t come from air-conditioned offices. That’s why we are on the ground—standing with farmers, listening to rickshaw pullers, and talking to garment workers during their breaks. This party will not be built from the top down but will emerge from the people themselves."
