A rape case has been filed against Netrokona-based content creator Ripon Mia at the Netrokona Model Police Station. The victim's father lodged the complaint as the plaintiff on Tuesday night (4 August), naming Ripon Mia as the sole accused.
Confirming the case on Wednesday (5 August), Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Khayer of Netrokona Model Police Station said police have launched an investigation. He added that authorities are also working to identify those who attended an alleged arbitration meeting related to the incident, and appropriate legal action will be taken after reviewing what transpired during the meeting.
