Vladimir Putin reportedly drove himself to a hotel in Moscow to meet his former school teacher, Vera Gurevich, before hosting her for dinner at the Kremlin.
According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, Putin had invited Gurevich to attend Russia’s May 9 Victory Day parade at Red Square. She was staying at a central Moscow hotel for the occasion.
Footage showed the Russian president personally driving an Aurus Komendant, a Russian-made luxury SUV, as he arrived to pick her up.
