Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Adviser on Labour, Employment, Youth, and Sports Affairs for the Interim Government, highlighted ongoing rumors about forming a student political party linked to the anti-discrimination student movement. He addressed this while meeting with European Union Ambassador to Bangladesh Mitchell Miller on Sunday, October 27. In response to the ambassador's inquiry regarding a student political party emerging from the anti-discrimination movement, the adviser clarified, “There is false propaganda surrounding the formation of a student political party. This is not the time for division; rather, it’s time for everyone to work together.” Regarding the ambassador's question on a state reform commission, Asif Mahmud noted, “In line with the public’s expectations, we have already established 10 reform commissions. They have begun their work and will present specific proposals for state formation shortly. After implementing the reforms, we will move toward a fair election.”
