Malaysian-based Bangladeshi scientist Professor Dr. Saidur Rahman has once again secured a spot among the world’s top scientists. The 2026 AD Scientific Index ranks him first in Mechanical Engineering in Malaysia, second in Asia, and seventh globally out of 33,371 researchers. He previously led global rankings in sustainable and renewable energy research. With an H-index of 145 and over 86,000 citations, Dr. Rahman teaches at Sunway University, Malaysia, while continuing to mentor young researchers and drive cutting-edge research projects.
