Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce and Textiles and Jute, stated that the market will remain stable during the upcoming Ramadan. Speaking at a view-sharing meeting on Monday at the Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner's office, organized to discuss the activities of TCB, he said, "The market will be stable, and the prices of daily essentials will remain low due to adequate stock of Ramadan-related products." Regarding the TCB card, he added, "Our aim is to provide some relief to the marginalized population. The process of distributing cards to one lakh people in Rajshahi district, enabling them to purchase TCB products at affordable prices, is currently underway." The meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Afia Akhtar, was attended by the TCB Chairman, the Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner, and officials from various departments.
