Nahid Islam, Advisor to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, stated that political parties are demanding reforms under their control and are trying to prove the interim government a failure. He highlighted that the interim government came to power through an unprecedented coup in Bangladesh and faces challenges, including law and order, economic issues, reforms based on political consensus, and global relations. Nahid also emphasized that the government prioritizes human rights protection, particularly after years of human rights violations, disappearances, and a suffocating political environment. He mentioned that misinformation and conspiracies are being spread internationally about the government and its democratic uprising. The British Global Partners Governance delegation expressed full support for the interim government's efforts.
