An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) arrested a convicted drug offender who had been on the run for nearly three months after disguising himself as a farmer in Nachole, Chapainawabganj.
The man, identified as Sushil, had been sentenced to two years of rigorous imprisonment in a drug case. He was found working in a crop field in Niamatpur, Naogaon, when ASI Farhad Hossain, dressed in a lungi and posing as a farmer, approached him. Sushil attempted to flee but was chased down and arrested.
