A video that recently went viral captures a surprising and heartwarming moment involving a pair of police officers in Arizona, who stepped in to complete a pizza delivery after the original delivery driver was arrested during a traffic stop.
The Tempe Police Department shared the video on social media with the humorous caption, "When your GrubHub driver gets arrested... Tempe Police Delivers." The incident took place on July 4 and showed officers arriving at the delivery location and handing the pizza to a clearly stunned customer.
In the footage, the customer’s jaw dropped in shock as she opened the door and saw police officers standing there with her pizza in hand.
“I really appreciate the pizza,” she said, expressing her gratitude.
On their official X (formerly Twitter) account, the Tempe Police Department added, “We're committed to serving our community 24/7—whether it's safety or pizza delivery!”
