The Ministry of Youth and Sports has decided to establish over 220 upazila-level stadiums in memory of the martyrs of the July-August uprising. On Saturday, November 16, Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan announced this during the inauguration of the "Shaheed Farhan Faiyaz Playground," designed for children with special needs, in the National Parliament area. The adviser stated, "We will have over 220 upazila stadiums. Each stadium will be named after the martyrs from the respective upazila." He also mentioned that a chapter on the July-August uprising, including memoirs of the martyrs, will be added to the 2025 academic curriculum.
