Neymar is not yet ready for an immediate return to action for Al-Hilal, according to the head coach of the Saudi Arabian club. The Brazilian star, who joined the Riyadh-based team in August 2023, played only five matches before undergoing surgery for a ruptured meniscus and ACL in his left knee, sustained during international duty in October. Despite returning to training in July, speculation about his comeback has been tempered by coach Jorge Jesus, who downplayed the timeline during a post-match press conference. "Neymar is a key player for both Al-Hilal and the league," said Jesus, who led the team to their 19th league title in May. "However, I can't provide an exact date for his return, but we’ll reassess the situation in January." Neymar will be eligible for registration by Al-Hilal for the second half of the Saudi Pro League (SPL) season starting in January.
