Netflix is facing criticism from human rights groups for not renewing 19 films from its "Palestinian Stories" collection, originally launched in October 2021. These films will be removed at the end of the month due to the expiration of licensing agreements, a common practice in content distribution. This situation is similar to other popular shows like “Friends” and “Mr. Robot,” which have also been removed for similar reasons. Despite the removals, Netflix still features works by Palestinian creators on its platform. Freedom Forward, one of the organizations expressing concern, publicly condemned Netflix's decision to delete the films in a letter shared on their website.
