The results of this year’s HSC exams were announced, with 1,035,309 students passing, including Nafisa Hossain Marwa, who achieved a GPA of 4.25. However, Nafisa, a 17-year-old student, tragically lost her life during student protests on August 5, when police shot her on Thana Road near Jahangirnagar University in Savar. Despite her father's efforts to prevent her from participating in the movement, Nafisa secretly continued protesting. On the day of her death, she called her father, saying she was heading to Gonobhaban, believing Sheikh Hasina had fled. Later that afternoon, she was fatally shot. Her final words to her father were, "Dad, I’m going to die. Take my body." The news of her passing the HSC exams has left her family in profound grief.
