Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman went unsold in today’s IPL auction held in Jeddah. Priced at INR 2 crores, he was the first Bangladeshi player called on the second day, but no team showed interest. Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, with a base price of INR 75 lakhs, also went unsold. Ten other Bangladeshi players are yet to be called. In the previous IPL edition, Mustafizur was the sole Bangladeshi pick, playing for Chennai Super Kings. He featured in nine matches, claiming 14 wickets with an economy rate of 9.26.
