A muazzin in Kerala, India, passed away while delivering the adhan at a local mosque, according to local reports. Witnesses said he collapsed moments after reciting the Shahada, Islam’s declaration of faith, during the call to prayer. He was rushed for medical treatment but was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact cause of death and are reportedly looking into the incident.
