Following the 13th National Parliamentary Election and referendum, newly elected MP Nurul Haque Nur has arranged a free launch service to help voters from his constituency return to their workplaces in the capital.
On Saturday (14 February), Nur announced the initiative in a message on his Facebook page. He said the Royal Cruise-2, provided on behalf of the newly elected MP of Patuakhali-3 (Galachipa-Dashmina), would depart at 4:00 pm from Charkazal Launch Ghat, traveling via Char Shiba, Auliapur, Dashmina, and Banshbari Chandpur before heading to Dhaka. The service is intended to facilitate the return of voters working in Dhaka and Chattogram.
In the 12 February parliamentary election, Nur—President of the Gono Odhikar Parishad—won the Patuakhali-3 seat with 96,766 votes, contesting under the “Truck” symbol.
