Mother murders 3-year-old son during Tarawih prayers and escapes

On Saturday night in Raipura, Narsingdi, a heartbreaking incident unfolded when Shirin Begum, a mother, brutally stabbed her three-year-old son, Anas Mia, to death before fleeing the scene. Anas was the son of Dalim Mia, a Saudi expatriate. Shirin had been residing with her in-laws while her husband worked abroad. The tragic event occurred while Anas’s grandmother was performing Tarawih prayers in the adjacent room. Upon hearing screams, the grandmother rushed to the scene, only to find her grandson's lifeless body. The motive behind this horrifying act remains unclear, and the mother is currently at large. Local authorities have launched an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the killing.
