After his bookstore was destroyed during the war in Gaza, bookseller Mohamed Saad returned to the ruins to recover books that had survived. He rebuilt his collection with the rescued volumes and now runs a small roadside tent bookstore in Deir al-Balah. Through his efforts, Saad hopes to preserve Gaza's literary heritage, giving damaged books a second life while offering his community a symbol of resilience amid the ongoing conflict.
