The Constitution Reform Commission has proposed establishing a bicameral legislature consisting of two chambers: the National Assembly as the lower house and the Senate as the upper house. Both houses would have a four-year term. The proposal includes a two-term limit for serving as Prime Minister, and individuals holding the position would be prohibited from serving as the head of a political party or as the leader of the parliament. Additionally, the commission suggests lowering the minimum age for contesting parliamentary elections from 25 to 21 years. Currently, the National Assembly's term is five years, and there is no age restriction for becoming Prime Minister.
