Another student, 14-year-old Rohan, who was severely injured in the Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, is being discharged today, Monday (15 September). The National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery will release him around noon.
Mahmudul Hasan, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, confirmed that Rohan, admitted with over 45% burns, has now recovered. Before his release, a briefing on his treatment progress will be held at 1:30 PM at the office of Institute Director Dr. Mohammad Nasir Uddin.
After Rohan’s discharge, 15 other students—10 girls and 5 boys—will remain under treatment at the institute, though all are now out of danger. Earlier, on 3 September, five students had already been released.
