At only 13 years old, Warsia Khusbu has made a remarkable mark in Bangladeshi chess, securing the Woman FIDE Master (WFM) title after crossing the 2100 rating threshold, currently standing at 2145. This achievement makes her the highest-ranked among 205 active female chess players in the country. Khusbu began her chess journey in Dhaka in 2017 at the age of five and has steadily risen through dedication and hard work. In 2023, she earned the Woman Candidate Master (WCM) title after finishing fifth in the Asian Zone 3.2 Chess Championship. Expressing her excitement, Khusbu shared that her next goal is achieving the Woman Grandmaster (WGM) title.
