Martyr Abu Sayed, a student from Begum Rokeya University and the first martyr of the quota reform movement, passed the 18th teachers' registration exam, though his success will remain unrecognized due to his untimely death. Sayed had participated in the protests and faced violence from student wing leaders on July 11 before taking his exam under immense stress the following day. Despite his aspirations, Sayed was shot and killed during clashes with police on July 16 while leading protesters through Rangpur. The Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) published the exam results, showing that Sayed had passed in English and Bangla for the Ebtedaye section of madrasa.
