Despite having a 10% quota, women boldly stepped forward, rejecting the quota system. Alam also highlighted that people are not only seeking a shift in power but a transformation in the very structure of power itself. They desire dignity, equality, and an end to discrimination, along with a resolution to the politics of division in cultural and ideological spaces. People want a society where every voice is heard, and everyone enjoys their fundamental human and civil rights without any conditions or reservations.
