The court has granted bail to Mostofa Asif, an assistant binder at Dhaka University’s Central Library, who was arrested in connection with a case of harassing a female student on campus. On Thursday (March 6), Shahbagh Police Station Sub-Inspector Md. Toufiq Hasan presented him before the court and requested his detention. The defense lawyer sought bail, while the prosecution objected. After hearing both sides, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehera Mahbub granted bail.
