Man Murders Wife, Chops and Boils Her Body Before Throwing It in a Lake in India

A Hyderabad man, Guru Murthy, 45, allegedly killed his wife, Venkata Madhavi, 35, in a gruesome act. The couple often argued, and on January 16, Madhavi was reported missing by her family. Police suspected her husband, a former soldier and DRDO security guard, who eventually confessed to the crime. He claimed to have killed his wife, dismembered her body in the bathroom, and boiled the parts in a pressure cooker. Over three days, he separated the bones, ground them, boiled them repeatedly, and disposed of the remains in a lake. The confession is under investigation. The couple has two children. Inspector Nagaraju confirmed the husband’s confession but noted that the full details are yet to be verified.
