Popular Islamic scholar Mizanur Rahman Azhari was barred from entering Malaysia by the country's immigration police. Upon landing at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 6:30 PM, Azhari was detained due to allegations filed against him at the Malaysian police headquarters. While his personal assistant, Md. Murad, was released, Azhari remained in custody for questioning. The police have not provided further details, citing the ongoing investigation.
