Krishna Nandi likely to be Jamaat’s candidate for Khulna-1

Krishna Nandi, president of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Hindu Committee in Dumuria, is expected to be nominated as the party’s candidate for Khulna-1 (Batiaghata–Dacope). He said he will start campaigning once the central leadership introduces him officially. The final decision rests with Jamaat’s top leaders. Meanwhile, BNP has named candidates for five of Khulna’s six seats, keeping Khulna-1 pending.
