Kabi Nazrul and Suhrawardy College students vandalized DMRC in protest against campus violence

Students from Kabi Nazrul Government College and Suhrawardy College protested by vandalizing Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College (DMRC) on November 25, following recent campus violence. The protest began around 10 am at Bahadur Shah Park, where students gathered with sticks after their demands were not met. By 12:30 pm, they were seen vandalizing DMRC. Some Suhrawardy College students claimed they had given the administration until 10 am to address the issue but received no action. Students from Kabi Nazrul expressed they didn’t intend to harm the public but wanted justice for their peers. Kabi Nazrul’s principal, Professor Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman, urged calm, assuring that a fair investigation would take place, including a committee from Dhaka University.
