In Nabinagar, Brahmanbaria, an attempt to seize a detained individual from police custody led to a violent clash with officers. During the incident, Jubo League leader Halim Mia bit a police officer before escaping. Seven police personnel, including the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nabinagar Police Station, sustained injuries. The confrontation occurred on Sunday night (November 10) in Khagatua village of Ratnapur Union within the upazila. In response, on Monday, police filed a case naming 34 individuals as suspects. Since then, police have launched a targeted operation, resulting in the arrest of six people. The injured officers include SI Nasir Uddin, SI Md. Shamim Bhuiyan, ASI Ramzan Chowdhury, ASI Md. Abdur Rashid, ASI Abul Kalam Azad, ASI Billal Hossain, and constable Md. Saddam Hossain. They received treatment at Nabinagar Upazila Health Complex.
