A Jubo Dal leader in Chattogram, Abdul Karim, has been expelled following accusations of threatening a foreign company in the Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) to secure a tender. Allegedly involved in issuing death threats and harassment, Karim has denied these claims, asserting they were fabricated by political rivals. The central Jubo Dal announced his expulsion to distance the party from his actions. The accusations arose from a general diary filed by American and Efird Bangladesh Limited, which reported harassment and threats by Karim and Elias Kanchan, another expelled BNP leader. The company claimed they faced verbal abuse and threats to shut down their factory if the tender was not awarded by November.
