A fire broke out at a house in the Islampur area adjacent to the campus, leaving four people injured with burn wounds. Among the injured is Md Saiful Islam Roni, a student of the 47th batch of the Anthropology Department. Of the four victims, two are residents from outside the campus, while the remaining two are from the campus area.
Roni has reportedly suffered burn injuries to approximately 50 percent of his body, raising serious concern about his condition. Following the incident, all four injured individuals were given immediate attention and were initially taken to Enam Medical College Hospital for emergency treatment.
