JU Declares Mourning Day Over Ranchi Death, Postpones Classes and Exams

The administration has suspended four officials, including the deputy registrar, in connection with the death of Afsana Rachi, a student from the Marketing Department, who was struck by a rickshaw on the campus of Jahangirnagar University. In response, the university has declared a day of mourning on Wednesday, November 20. All classes and exams have been canceled for the day. A notification signed by the acting registrar at 12:30 pm stated that the university flag will be flown at half-mast, and bus services will be suspended on all campus routes.
