The Chief Advisor's Press Wing announced that journalists' access to the Secretariat has been restricted following the recent devastating fire incident. A press release issued by the Chief Advisor's office this morning (Saturday) stated that the decision was made in consideration of the security of the Key Point Installations (KPI) impacted by this week's fire. The statement also mentioned that the government will soon review the existing press accreditation cards and invite new applications from all local and international media outlets to issue updated accreditation cards.
