On Sunday, the air forces of Jordan and the UAE conducted three humanitarian airdrops over Gaza, delivering 25 tons of food and essential supplies to severely affected areas. Using C-130 aircraft, this joint mission is part of Jordan’s ongoing relief efforts in partnership with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and various international collaborators.
The UAE also announced the rapid resumption of its aid deliveries to address Gaza’s critical situation, committing to provide support by land, air, or sea. Since the conflict began, Jordan has carried out 127 solo airdrops and coordinated 267 additional missions with international allies, alongside dispatching 181 land convoys totaling nearly 8,000 aid trucks into Gaza. While airdrops are crucial for quickly reaching remote locations, officials stress that ground convoys remain the most effective means of delivering aid.
