Jagannath University has emerged as the Dhaka division champion in the NASA Space Apps Challenge, organized by NASA. The results were announced on Saturday, October 5, during the Bangladesh segment of the hackathon, held both in-person at the American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) and virtually. The winning team from JnU, named Quantum Voyager, created an app that tracks satellites and alerts users when a satellite is passing over their location. This app also allows users to easily download and analyze satellite data. The team members include Muammar Tajwar Asfi, Nahid Raihan, Jahangir Hossain, Farhan Masud Sohag, and Yusuf Hasan Sifat. Asfi expressed pride in their success, stating that their next goal is to claim the world championship title at NASA Space Apps 2024.
