Meanwhile, Israel has launched a heavy assault on Gaza City, including a ground operation.
Earlier, Israel carried out an airstrike on the port of Hodeidah in Yemen, causing multiple deaths and significant damage. According to Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV, Israel conducted 12 attacks on Tuesday.
Houthi spokesman Yahya Sari said on X, “Israeli warplanes are currently carrying out aggression against our country. Our air defenses are repelling the attack.”
The Israeli military had threatened to strike the Red Sea coastal city hours earlier, ordering an evacuation. Netanyahu’s government claims the Houthis are using the port to acquire weapons from Iran.
