Dina Khaled Zaurub, a 22-year-old Palestinian artist renowned for creating powerful portraits of martyrs who lost their lives in Israel’s genocide in Gaza, tragically lost her life in an Israeli airstrike. The attack struck the tent where her family had sought refuge, located near the Sand Beach resort in southern Gaza. Her death was reported on April 13 by Quds News Network. Dina's art, which often highlighted the suffering of children in conflict zones, earned her several accolades, including the prestigious Al Mezan Centre for Human Rights Award in 2015, recognizing her work focused on children's rights in times of war.
