Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian joined a protest in Tehran on Sunday, 22 June 2025, opposing recent US military strikes.
The demonstration, held at Inqilab Square, featured participants chanting slogans against the United States and Israel, while many waved Iranian national flags.
Video footage shared by Iran’s Fars News Agency showed large crowds holding placards with anti-US and anti-Israel messages. Mehr News Agency reported that President Pezeshkian personally joined the rally. Some of the placards read: “Iran is our motherland. Its soil is our honour; its flag, our shroud.”
The protest was part of a wider public reaction to US actions in the region. The president’s presence at the rally signaled official support for the demonstration.
