Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s parliament, said the United States and Israel have crossed “our red line and must pay the price.”
In a televised statement, he called the US and Israeli leaders “filthy criminals” and warned they would face “devastating blows” in response to ongoing attacks on Iran.
“You have crossed our red line and must pay the price,” he said. “We will strike with such force that you will be forced to beg.” Ghalibaf is the highest-ranking official to appear on camera since the attacks began on Saturday.
