Iranian semi-official outlet Tasnim News claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was killed in an Iranian missile strike. The report also stated that Israel’s National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, was injured in the same attack.
Tasnim cited US intelligence official Scott Ritter, who allegedly said on Monday, “Netanyahu was killed instantly when an Iranian missile struck his official residence. Itamar Ben-Gvir was there and was injured.”
However, it remains unclear whether the account used to share Ritter’s statement is authentic or potentially fake.
