The International Crimes Tribunal's (ICT) Chief Prosecutor, Mohammad Tajul Islam, announced plans to request Interpol red notices for the extradition of fugitive accused individuals, including Sheikh Hasina. This follows his earlier request to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) on November 10 to take action against Sheikh Hasina and other Awami League leaders who fled to India over cases linked to the ICT. On October 17, the ICT issued arrest warrants against Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader, and 46 others for alleged genocide and crimes against humanity committed in July and August. The order was issued by a three-judge bench led by Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Mozumder.
