He urged the community to resist interest-based lending socially and work towards making loans more accessible without interest. He called on those involved in usury to abandon the practice and pledged collective action to reform the system. The event also featured Rafiqul Islam Madani, a well-known child preacher who was previously imprisoned under the Digital Security Act. He was acquitted after the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government due to student and public movements.
