On Saturday afternoon, BSF personnel and Indian nationals crossed into the Bangladesh border at Kiranganj in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj and attempted to cut down 12 to 15 mango trees. Tensions escalated when the BGB, with the support of locals, intervened and stopped their actions. During the confrontation, the Indians chanted "Jai Shri Ram," while Bangladeshi nationals responded by chanting "Naara-e-Takbiir, Allahu Akbar." Eventually, the Indians abandoned the cut trees and retreated in the face of resistance. The BGB stated that the situation is now under control.
