Eight-year-old Ali Abu Sabha is facing the risk of complete blindness. He lost vision in his left eye after falling from a height while fetching water following an Israeli airstrike in his area. His right eye later became severely weakened after another fall while he was on his way to memorize the Quran. Medical examinations revealed severe optic nerve atrophy in his left eye. Doctors have been unable to perform the necessary surgeries due to the severity of his condition and a lack of medical equipment and resources. They have also warned that the damage to his left eye could further affect his right eye, increasing the risk of total blindness.
