RJ Atiqul Gazi, who lost his hand during the student movement, addressed political parties with a strong message: “If you seek power without reforms, then return the lives of my 1,600 martyred brothers. Restore my 22,000 injured brothers to their former health, and give me back my hand.” He shared this statement in a Facebook post on Wednesday. Asif Mahmood Sajib Bhuiyan, Adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, later shared Atiqul's post on his verified Facebook account. Earlier, Atiqul emphasized, “I’m not speaking out of emotion but from my conscience. Do you think I’m scared? No, no. Fear doesn’t suit me. Call us, and you’ll see—we’re back in the field. Losing one hand doesn’t matter; I’m still alive and ready to fight.”
