At a rally organized by Jamaat in East Senpara of Dhaka-15 on Monday (November 10) night, Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that if his party comes to power, women will be allowed to work for five hours a day. If any company faces losses because of this, the government will provide a three-hour subsidy to support them. He added that women who spend time at home instead of going to work will be honored by the government.
During his speech, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman urged everyone to join him in cleaning up society, saying, “We want a radical change in this dirty society. Our mission is to clear the garbage of the nation.”
Encouraging the youth to join this mission, he said, “I dream of building a golden society, and you will be its charioteers.”
He also promised that the state would ensure equal rights for all children, stating that no child should face discrimination within a family or society.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman concluded by saying, “If elected, people won’t have to spend money or effort to reach us with their problems — we will go to them and solve issues based on priority.”
