If all problems can be solved by posting a status on Facebook, then I will also post one every day: Najmul Hossain Shanto

The day before the first test (Sunday), Najmul Hossain Shanto held a press conference where he was questioned about Shakib Al Hasan's absence. Shanto replied, "It’s tough without Shakib Bhai, but it’s out of our control. We all know the reason for his absence. And since it seems like posting a status on Facebook solves everything these days, I’m considering posting one every day (smile)." Earlier, Phil Simmons was also asked about Shakib. He chose to sidestep the topic, stating, "It’s an external matter (not for discussion). Over the next few days, a key part of our work is to keep the focus on cricket. I can only manage what’s within my control. We can control how we prepare for the match, and I want the boys to keep that in mind as well."
