BNP's Senior Joint Secretary, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, stated today that India is attempting to bring Sheikh Hasina back to power. "India is distressed by Sheikh Hasina's departure. It has suffered greatly due to her removal from power. India is working to bring her back to the country and restore her position," Rizvi said while speaking as the chief guest at the Shaheed Zia Memorial Football Tournament at the Shaheed Abul Kashem College ground in the Barabari area of Lalmonirhat this afternoon. He added, "Our leader, Begum Khaleda Zia, stayed in the country despite facing imprisonment, while Sheikh Hasina fled to India, abandoning her leaders and activists. This is the key difference between them." Rizvi concluded, "I will tell India this: If it holds so much affection for Sheikh Hasina, it should build a Taj Mahal in her honor."
