On Wednesday morning, Home Affairs Advisor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury carried out an unannounced inspection of police patrols in several key areas of Dhaka to evaluate law enforcement and security measures. He visited police checkpoints and stations in locations such as Banani, Vijay Sarani, Manik Mia Avenue, New Market, Shahbagh, and Gulshan. After completing the rounds, he returned home via United Hospital. Throughout the inspection, he interacted with officers and stressed the significance of maintaining heightened vigilance to ensure the safety and stability of both the capital and the country as a whole. His visit aimed to reinforce the importance of constant readiness in the face of security challenges.
